Cristóbal Roig is an architect focused on high-end residential architecture, with extensive experience in design development, detailing, and the coordination of complex projects. His work places special emphasis on noble materials, refined spatial proportions, and the design of architecture that responds sensitively to tropical climates, outdoor living, and the particular conditions of each site.
He graduated from Universidad Central de Venezuela in 1992, later earned a Master’s degree from Harvard University, and worked in Madrid with architect Rafael Moneo, contributing to major international projects including the New Souks of Beirut, the extension of the Prado Museum, among others.
He also taught design at Universidad Simón Bolívar. Later, he worked in London on large-scale projects including major stadium developments, @HOK sports before establishing his own practice. Throughout his career, he has combined architectural design with a particular dedication to refined private residences and luxury homes, while also collaborating with internationally recognized offices such as Oppenheim Architecture.
His work is defined by a careful attention to materials, construction quality, and the thoughtful adaptation of design to local building methods, craftsmanship, and tropical conditions.
